Promotions for Good by Maria Satira Media is committed to helping nonprofits get the attention they deserve through earned media and external marketing.

It can be really frustrating when newsworthy nonprofit press releases, events, fundraisers, programs, and stories don’t get picked up by the local media.

To be honest, it all comes down to the quality of the pitch and an organization’s outreach process and technique.

Through Maria Satira's professional training as a journalist and newsroom leader, she knows how to pitch a story, create relationships with newsrooms, and serve as an ongoing resource for future coverage.

Maria is ready to teach you these techniques and tools so you can achieve earned media for your nonprofit on a regular basis.

Hi, I’m Maria Satira!

Thanks for being here. I created Maria Satira Media's "Promotions for Good" brand to help nonprofits get the earned media attention that they deserve.

I'm committed to providing the training and education that your nonprofit organization needs to succeed.

I have an extensive background in public relations and marketing that connects to people. This is essential for organizations that are looking to target specific audiences.

As a former journalist with a decade of experience as an on-air reporter and news anchor, I know how newsrooms work. This background helps me in my current role as a full-time nonprofit marketing professional and part-time nonprofit media relations coach and educator. I have insider knowledge with story pitching, securing interviews, and writing press releases. I'm exciting to branch out my one-on-one coaching opportunities and group workshops to now include self-paced courses.

Your nonprofit deserves to be featured in your local media outlets. Through my educational offerings, we'll help you get there.

Build Relationships
